 Ken Podgorsek move to accept minutes, Angela Harper seconded the motion. Approved by voice vote
New Business
 San Jose State Update - Sharon Wiley
 Bob Rosenberry
 Phase 1 residence halls, will be 5 stories along 10th street and step back to 15 story towers. Construction is set to being next January. The University wants to underground some of the utilities, The largest utility line will remain above ground. Parking will be impacted on the west side of the 10th street during construction. The east side of the street should not be impacted. Pile drivers will not be used in the construction, but there will be a slab poured for probably two days straight.
 San Jose Police - Lt Ken Tanaka
 Lt Tanaka introduced himself to the neighborhood, he is our new swing shift officer.

 UNC SNI Revitalization Plan - Mike Brilliot
 Draft of the Top 10 items and actions needed to accomplish them.
 Motion to move Coyote Creek Trail, and 10th and 11th couplet conversion to top 10 and move gateways and block grant program to on deck circle by Ken Podgorsek, seconded by Tom clifton. Approved by voice vote.
 Motion for top 10 priorities by David Dudek, seconded by Tom Clifton, Approved by voice vote.

 Motion for on-deck priorities by Ken Pogorsek, seconded by David Dudek. Approved by voice vote.
 On Deck Priorities
 Maintain a Hospital at the San Jose Medical Center site
 Beautify neighborhood gateways

 Facade improvements for businesses
 Conversion of 3rd and 4th to two-way traffic
 Next Month will review the final draft.
Public Comment
 Anthony Catafi(InterFraternaty Council at SJSU)
 Creating the Greek Neighborhoods Committee, to work with neighborhoods and University to improve neighborhoods. Interested in participating in Neighborhood meetings, tree plantings, and clean ups. Also developing a Property Maintanace clause to making Fraternities more responsible for upkeep of the facilites. Cleaning up after parties.

 Lisa Jensen has been nominated for Women of Acheivement 2002 - Volunteerism by Cindy Chavez
 James Clark
 San Jose State is planning to pave over the track. Spartan-Keyes doesn't have open space and uses the track. Looking for support from the surrounding neighborhoods.
